About Ajay

Hi, I’m Ajay Narayanan! I have 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining Android applications, working with diverse teams across 2 countries. I recently completed my M.Sc. in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in machine learning with an emphasis on natural language processing.

I’m currently an Android Developer at Quartett Mobile in Munich, where I work on the communication framework used by Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, and other car brands. Previously I spent nearly 5 years at Zoho Corporation in Chennai as part of the Zoho Creator team, where I took ownership of the Reports and Base modules and worked on large-scale modularization, Java-to-Kotlin migration, and performance improvements.

On the research side, my thesis focused on the construction and evaluation of constructed languages using LLMs, and I’ve done work on graph-based problem solving with LLMs and multi-hop reading comprehension using Graph Neural Networks.

I love working on interesting problems and building products that people love to use. I always strive to take ownership of the work I do, and I enjoy taking on leadership roles outside of work too. I’m always looking for opportunities to work with people and companies who are passionate about what they do.

Outside of tech, I like to do Improv comedy, and play badminton and volleyball.
